This family-business blog, named in honor of our grandmother, Ardola Vicks, better known as Mother Sarah, aims to serve as a 21st century meet-up spot for our kinfolk to collaborate on family business ventures.

Fundraising
Family Business Project # 1: Renovation of Our Family Burial Ground
Funds will be disbursed in three phases:
Phase 1: $5,000 disbursement to hire a professional landscaping company to clean and clear the gravesite for the future installation of a fence.
Phase 2: $30,000 disbursement to install an aluminum fence around the perimeter of the burial ground.
Phase 3: $5,000 disbursement to restore/purchase headstones.
GoFundMe
A GoFundMe account was set up for our kinfolk to pool its resources to finance the Family Burial Ground Project.

The goal is to raise $40,000 total.
Donations of any amount are welcomed.
If you would like to make an anonymous donation:
1. Visit the GoFundMe page and select the "Donate Now" button.
2. Choose the "Don't display name publicly on the campaign" option underneath the donation amount and name fields.
3. Click "Donate now" to finalize your donation.

A CashApp account was also set up as another option for our kinfolk to pool its resources to finance the Family Burial Ground Project.
To donate using CashApp, you can either:
a. Open CashApp application
b. Type in $Ardolavillage1
c. Type in amount you are donating.
d. Click "Pay" button at bottom of page.

b. Hold phone up to QR Code on right. (You will be directed to the CashApp application).
c. Type in amount you are donating.

It is in the spirt of unity that we, the heirs of these beloved patriarchs and matriarchs, come together to move our family forward. We honor them by pledging our time, support, and resources toward the collective uplift of our noble clan. Although we are miles apart, each of us should remember that our story began with our matriarch Ardola (Mother Sarah) and her children.
