Small Wins Lead to Bigger Ones

One of the things I learned at work is that small wins do matter.

Accomplishing a smaller task can give one confidence to tackle a larger task.

Shepherd boy David's victory over a lion gave him confidence to defeat a bear. His triumph over both beasts gave him the confidence to emerge victorious over a larger foe.

As our plan to improve the family burial ground gets underway (more to come on this), we can use this small success to strengthen our belief that we can accomplish even bigger things.

I believe our patriarchs called that faith.

About Me

self portrait 1_inPixio.jpg

I'm just one of the many descendants of Ardola Vicks who believes that our family has unlimited potential. While it's true that many of us live miles apart, we will forever have so much in common - ancestry, beliefs, etc.

Our mission, if we choose to accept it, is to identify and achieve as many common goals as possible. That is the spirit in which this blog was created.
